WetCheck USA, LLC (“WetCheck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the WetCheck USA application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), company affiliation.
- Business data: property records, customer contact information you input, irrigation system details, inspection records, voice recordings, transcripts, photographs, and notes.
- Integration credentials: API keys and credentials you supply to connect third-party services (e.g., your Aspire account, your SMTP provider).
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
- Communications: support inquiries and other correspondence with us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: features accessed, actions taken, timestamps, and error events.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and approximate geographic location derived from IP.
- GPS location: when you grant permission, the Service uses your device's precise location to identify the property you are at. Location data is processed in connection with the inspection in progress and stored with the inspection record.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process voice recordings into structured inspection data using AI services described in Section 4.
- Generate inspection reports and proposals on your behalf.
- Deliver inspection reports to recipients you designate, via the email and integration channels you configure.
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Communicate with you about the Service, including service announcements and security alerts.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers (Subprocessors)
We engage trusted third parties to operate the Service. Each is contractually required to protect your data:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Anthropic — AI processing of transcripts into structured inspection data and proposals.
- Render — application hosting.
- Your configured SMTP provider — email delivery using credentials you supply.
- Your configured payment processor — subscription billing.
- Your configured integrations — e.g., Aspire, when you authorize the connection.
Voice recordings and transcripts are transmitted to Anthropic for AI processing in accordance with Anthropic's data handling commitments. We do not authorize Anthropic to train models on your data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With your direction: for example, when you send an inspection report to a client, we deliver it via the channels you configured.
- With service providers: as described in Section 4.
- For legal reasons: to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other valid legal process; to protect rights, property, or safety; or to investigate fraud or security incidents.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and business data for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterward to fulfill legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Voice recordings used for AI extraction are retained alongside their derived transcripts and inspection records. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address in Section 12.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest by our infrastructure providers, access controls, and authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

10. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. 11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. The “Effective” date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.
